TWO-goal hero James Constable admitted the Chippenham players will not be happy unless they win the Southern Premier League title this season.
The hitman, whose brace against fellow title chasers Merthyr Tydfil on Saturday put the Bluebirds three points clear at the top, insists a finish in the playoffs will not be good enough for the side.
He said: "We have proved we can beat any team in this league and we will be extremely disappointed if we do not win it now.
"If we keep our concentration I cannot see any team beating us."
Constable, 20, has not featured in the Southern League since the first week in December. But he has now scored four goals in two games and is feeling on top of his game.
"They were probably my most important goals of the season especially after they done us at their place.
"By beating them we have now put a psychological barrier between us and the other sides in the division, they have to do the chasing now. Merthyr are our main rivals and we now feel we can win every game."
The striker puts his rich vein of form down to the competition for places that has been created at the club since the arrival of Weston-super-Mare striker David Gilroy.
"Sitting on the bench has given me desire and determination to get back into the team. We have four great strikers at the club and the competition is helping us to keep sharp.
"We all know we have to play well to keep our place in the team."
Constable's two goals were scored in in front of 902 noisy supporters at Hardenhuish Park, .
The Gazette-sponsored forward praised the Chippenham fans and feels the team would not be on top of the league if it were not for the immense support.
"The atmosphere was amazing and the fans were brilliant, they created a great noise and I got a real buzz when I was playing.
"It is a nice feeling when you know the fans appreciate your efforts."
Constable also gave credit to Chippenham's defence, who kept their third clean sheet in a row against Merthyr Tydfil.
"They have been superb recently and were rock solid today.
"Their confidence ripples through the rest of the team."
