Scott King, who was the first person in Wiltshire to receive an anti social behaviour order, is back in prison this week after breaching an order for the fourth time.
King, 32, of Eastleigh Road, Devizes, was apprehended in the Chequers courtyard, outside D'arcy Books, in the town centre after police received a complaint that he was drunk and abusive.
He appeared before Chippenham magistrates last Thursday and the bench had no hesitation in imposing a jail sentence of three months when they heard of King's record.
King received the anti-social behaviour order in September 2003 after he admitted being one of a gang of drinkers that terrorised passers by in the Market Place.
He was sent to jail for two months last February for breaching the order by being drunk and disorderly but two months later he pleaded guilty to another breach, for being in possession of two cans of Tennents Super Lager.
He escaped a jail sentence on that occasion but in September 2004 he was jailed for four months for threatening behaviour. The sentence included two months for drinking in a public place in breach of the ASBO.
