THE son of Hollywood superstar Clint Eastward is to perform at this year's Marlborough International Jazz Festival.
Kyle Eastward will be appearing during the three-day event in June with his band West Quintet, in the town hall.
Eastwood worked as a studio musician, and wrote film scores, including Unforgiven and Mystic River, which starred his famous father, before becoming bassist in his own band.
Also joining the festival this year will be Clare Teal and Gwyneth Herbert, who, since starring in last year's event, have both signed million dollar record contracts.
Opening this year's festival will be jazz veteran Chris Barber.
Festival founder Nick Fogg said: "There are three new big stars in the jazz world, Clare Teal, Gwyneth Herbert and Jamie Cullum, all of whom have multi-million dollar contracts and we have signed two of them to perform at Marlborough again this year."
Each year the festival costs £180,000 to stage, which goes towards the artists, the venues and the advertising.
Brewin Dolphin are the main sponsors of the event, and Mr Fogg said tantalisingly that he is trying to line up "a very special visitor" to open the Brewin Dolphin bandstand.
Other sponsors include Withy King solicitors, who have donated what Mr Fogg described as a very generous amount, and the festival is also to receive a Government grant of £7,000.
