I REPLY to Coun John Reed's comment on recycling boxes in the January 19 edition of Devizes News.
When we had our black box delivered, I rang Kennet Council and asked if we could put in bottles, tins and rags like Devizes people.
Their reply was no, so I said I would not be using my box for paper as I work at St Barnabas School and I would take my papers to their bin.
The lady on the phone said to get rid of the bin or use it for a toy box.
So I gave my box to my daughter in Melksham to recycle her milk bottles which she takes to Bowerhill recycling plant.
Also I would like to know if we can use our brown garden waste bin in the Market Lavington area.
