AFTER the home side scored their first two tries in five minutes without a tackle being made, there wasn't much doubt as to the end result at The Worthies.
Skipper Paul Hutton scored the first try of the afternoon from the first scrum. The ball passed along the line tothe right wing and Hutton outran his opposite number to touch down in the corner.
Kris Arens put the ball out to Justin King, who passed to full-back Stuart Wright on the burst for the second and Rob Gow scored the third soon after to make the score 19-0 time only seven minutes into the game.
Further scores from David Worker, a second to Stuart, and touch downs to Huw Jones and Alan Keyes made it 43-0 at the break.
In the second half the visitors played with much more co-ordination and generally made a better job of defending their line.
But Wright's third and Steve Brady directing a precision pushover try for Huw Jones made sure of the final result.
Malmesbury's next fixture is at home against Supermarine seconds in the league this Saturday
