THE public have an extra two weeks to visit the plans for a 98-house development on the former GEC site in Melksham before they are discussed by the town council.
Developer JS Bloor, which owns the 1.4-hectare site at Beanacre Park, has submitted an application to build the houses in a development stretching behind Aldi and McDonald's.
The proposals were due to be discussed at a town council meeting on Monday night but councillors decided to wait to give the public more time to see the plans, which are on display at the town hall.
