With Valentine's Day just around the corner, it's time to get in shape for some serious romance.

So I'm giving you and your partner some exercises to do together to help firm up those muscles over the next fortnight.

The first one is some two-person squats to work your hips and thighs.

Stand with your back

touching your partner's and lean into each other's weight.

Put your hands behind your back and lock fingers. Now slowly lower yourselves down together, as if you're going to sit down, until your thighs are parallel to the floor. Slowly return to the start position and repeat at least ten times, keeping your backs together at all times.

Now we are going to work the muscles in your

calves. Stand with your feet hip-width apart and your heels angled in slightly.

Ask your partner to stand behind you and gently push down on your shoulders. Raise yourself onto the balls of both feet, pushing down onto your big toes.

Pause at the top, return slowly and then repeat ten times.

Okay last one for today, Let's try some back extensions for the lower back.

Kneel with your hands behind your head. Get your partner to hold your ankles firmly and lean forward

until your upper body is parallel to the floor. Slowly

return to the start, then repeat ten times.

Follow these exercises, along with the ones I give next week, and you're bound to be a bit fitter for Valentine's day.
