TWO illegal drivers were each ordered to pay £635 in fines and costs after police snared their cars in a speed trap on the A36 Warminster bypass.
Rebecca Holton, 32, was clocked at 83mph in her Volvo on the A36, which has a 60mph limit, at 12.45pm on May 26.
Holton, of Farleigh Road, Backwell, Bristol, was fined £300 and given eight points on her licence for driving without insurance.
She was also fined £150 for driving without a licence and speeding and ordered to pay £35 costs.
Steven Parsons, 28, of Pile Marsh, Redfield, Bristol, received the same fines and costs when his Audi 80 was recorded doing 83mph at 8.55am on May 31.
Both Holton and Parsons were sentenced in their absence at Chippenham magistrates' court on Thursday, after admitting the offences.
