TROWBRIDGE Town manager Neil Kirkpatrick is poised to unleash his full strike force on struggling Adderbury Park in tomorrow's Hellenic League First Division home game.
With wing back Gavin Eyre ruled out, Kirkpatrick is likely to change his team's formation, with Dave Percival, Matt Cooper and veteran David Mitchell forming a three-man front line.
Kirkpatrick said: " It is something we tried briefly against Almondsbury the other week and it seemed to work well. It's something I would like to look at again.
"We've never been able to play Mitchell and Cooper right up front together and it's something I want to try.
"Mitchell is a master at holding up the ball up front and Cooper can learn a lot by playing alongside him. It will also help free up Percival, who is becoming a marked man in our division since becoming the leading scorer."
Trowbridge will start firm favourites tomorrow, but will find themselves the underdogs in Wednesday night's Floodlight Cup game at Almondsbury.
Kirkpatrick said: "People will expect us to take the points against Adderbury Park, but we will be treating them with respect.
"Almondsbury will be a tough test. They are a good side, with players under contract, and have the league's top scorer, who missed the first leg, returning to the side.
"But our players always raise their games against the better sides and I'm looking for them to do the same thing again on Wednesday."
