READERS may like to know that on 9 February 9 the next monthly public trust board meeting of the Royal United Hospital will be taking place from 10.15am in the Council Chamber of Devizes Town Council.
Our decision to hold the meeting in Devizes is part of the trust's continuing wish to better communicate with and meet the needs of our wider community and to dispel the perception that we are solely a Bath focused organisation.
We plan to continue this approach and hold a number of our future meetings in other locations within the local area and would welcome any suggestions for venues.
Members of the public are always most welcome to sit in on our monthly trust board meetings.
A number of people regularly attend the meetings on the hospital site and board members enjoy the opportunity to informally meet these members of the public.
I very much hope that some of your readers will be interested in coming along and that we will be able to welcome some new faces at our meeting in Devizes.
M ROY
Chairman of Royal United Hospital Bath NHS Trust
