30161/1PROPOSALS for a revamped play area on a Trowbridge estate went on show on Monday and attracted a lot of interest.
People living on the College estate have been calling for the play area at Beech Grove to be given a facelift and were keen to see the plans, on show at the Arc Theatre.
Residents are now being asked to choose between two options for the upgrade, due to take place later this year.
They both include play equipment for younger children, but one also has a mini bicycle track.
Residents on the estate were angry last year when none of the money allocated by the Government under the Homezone scheme to improve deprived areas was earmarked for the play area.
