16490/3TSUNAMI AID: Youngsters from the Studley Green and Larkrise schools got together to come up with fundraising ideas to help the clean-up operation after the Boxing Day disaster in Asia.
Annie Nankivell, assistant head at Studley Green School, said: "It was amazing, the children were really enthusiastic. All the children got involved."
The events at the school included big jumble sale, a raffle and a non-uniform day.
One of the classes at Studley Green provided refreshments, with their own homemade milkshakes.
The special needs youngsters from Larkrise School joined children from the two special needs classes at Studley Green to help organise the jumble sale.
Mrs Nankivell said: "They did really well. Everyone was great and I would like to thank everyone who got involved."
The children at Studley Green are to get a special insight into the aftermath of the disaster from someone at the scene.
Mrs Nankivell's 28-year-old son, Ben Mascall, is going out to work with a relief organisation in Asia in a few weeks, and hopes to keep the youngsters informed about what he is doing through emails.
