Swindon-based train operator First Great Western has opened a new business lounge at London Paddington.
The £300,000 development on platform one provides a free walk-in facility for first class customers.
It offers a meeting room, Internet facilities and complimentary refreshments and newspapers.
The new area will operate in addition to an existing, more classically styled first class lounge, once used as Queen Victoria's waiting room.
Both will be open from 7am until midnight each weekday, with a trial currently underway to open at 5.30am.
It was opened by Moir Lockhead, the chief executive of First Great Western's parent company, First.
He said: "This is an superb facility and provides a place for customers to work, relax or meet and make the most of their business day."
More details, including fares, are available from www.firstgreatwestern.co.uk or at stations and via 08457 000125.
