A CHARITY created in 1912 by Queen Alexandra is offering to help Swindon charities working with children and the elderly.
The Alexandra Rose Day Charity aims to help to small charities working with children, especially those who are disabled. It helps charities which may not be in the limelight but which do good work and are run without the organisations of various big charities.
The Alexandra Rose Charity can help with their fundraising and they may also be eligible for a grant of up to £1,000 from the Alexandra Rose Day's Special Appeal Fund.
If any Swindon charity is interested its staff should write to Caroline Clark, Alexandra Rose Day, 5 Mead Lane, Farnham, Surrey, GU9 7DY.
