HEART Research is on the lookout for residents in Swindon who are interested in promoting healthy lifestyles and are willing to volunteer to give talks to schools and community groups in their area.
Anyone who can communicate with adults and children, are passionate about healthy living and have a desire to share this with others will be considered.
Volunteers will be responsible for delivering talks that raise awareness of the risks of heart disease and promote a healthy lifestyle.
Denise Armstrong, the charity's Lifestyle Officer, said: "Heart disease is still the UK's biggest killer but by tackling the disease at its roots it can be dramatically reduced.
"Our voluntary speakers play a vital role in helping us to do this by promoting and establishing healthy lifestyles in schools and community groups. Any willing volunteers wishing to join our speakers panel will receive a series of short informative training sessions."
