HIGHWORTH'S title hopes took another knock as they were held to a 1-1 draw at Wantage.
It could have been worse for John Fisher's men but for Richard Knox's late wonder goal.
The home side edged the first half and took the lead on the stroke of half-time when Paul Bedwell's deflected free-kick deceived Elliott Jackson.
Highworth improved after the break but it took a moment of magic to restore parity with 10 minutes left; substitute Knox firing home with the outside of his boot from 25 yards.
The strike was not enough to stop Highworth slipping to fourth place in the top flight.
Bishops Cleeve are back on top after thumping bottom club Bicester 5-0.
Slimbridge are second after a 1-1 draw with Carteron and Didcot third courtesy of a single-goal victory over Milton.
Recovering Wootton Bassett picked up another point but had to rely on Dave Tyler's late equaliser in a 1-1 draw with Pegasus.
Pegasus took the lead from the penalty spot when Andy Hallett tripped Ben Price and Chris Mortlock scored from 12 yards.
Just as the three points looked like heading to Pegasus, Tyler headed home after keeper Jamie Hales flapped at Rob Hopkins' free-kick.
Bassett remain nine points below Pegasus who started the day one place above the relegation zone.
Lee Clark scored the only goal of the game as Fairford won at Ardley to move up to ninth.
