AFTER the bad press that the nursing profession has received of late, I felt I must write about the exemplary treatment I received at the Great Western Hospital recently.
I was allocated to Teal Ward after an operation and the staff were unstinting in their efforts to make me comfortable.
They were professional and pleasant at all times and at no time did I feel that corners were being cut.
I record my grateful thanks to all concerned and should like to close by saying that while there may be flies in the NHS ointment, my experience shows that the problem is by no means endemic.
