EATING Disorders Awareness Week 2005 runs from February 6-12 with the theme Getting Better.
To promote Eating Disorders Awareness, Kemble House, next to the church, in Kemble, Gloucester, will host Open House on Friday, February 11, from 11am to 1pm and invites all interested to coffee or a glass of wine and nibbles.
Penny Junor, the writer and broadcaster, will give a short address at noon.
There will be various stands to give the chance for people to browse, chat and shop in a relaxed environment.
Tickets on the door are £5 with all proceeds going towards the Eating Disorders Association/Cirencester Self-Help Support group which meets in St Peter's Court, Cirencester, on the first Wednesday of the month.
This group offers sufferers and carers a confidential and understanding forum, in relaxed friendly surroundings, which is needed when discussing conditions and the effect it has on sufferers lives and the loved ones around them.
