SWINDON & DISTRICT: QUEENSTOWN not only lost their first game of the season, but were also dethroned by opponents Ramsbury in a top-of-the-table clash in Division One.
Ramsbury won 4-3, their winner coming from an own goal. Pete Wheeler, Jason LeGuilcher and Steve Tippens were also on target for Ramsbury, with Derrick Holmes, Rene Jepson and Tom Green replying.
Down Ampney romped past Green Baize Reserves 6-1 with goals from Frank Prosser, Carl Prosser (2), Robbie Quick, Chris Singh and Ray McGrory with a 40-yard chip. Shane Hibberd netted for the Baize.
Walcot beat Eastville 4-2 with veteran Rob Ashton coming on as a substitute to secure the win. Other Walcot goals came from Phil Greenwood, Ashley Williams and Lee Bailey. Rafelia Mazzotta and Frank Sammarco scored for Eastville.
Shield and Dagger beat AFC Abbey 2-0, with Jamie Ashby and Chris Bailey on target.
Craig Andrews scored a hat-trick for Spectrum, who beat Gangsters 5-2. Dwaine Baker also scored.
Trailers beat Swindon Asian Reserves 1-0.
In the Premier Division, Regent lost for the second week running when they went down 3-2 to Manor. Vince Goodwin, Grant Songhurst and Chris Prictor netted for the victors.
Ridgeway stayed top of the table thanks to a 4-3 victory over Liden, whose scorers were Jason Kearns (2) and Chris Yates.
Queensfield edged out Southbrook 4-3. Daniel Hiscock (2), Tony Smith and and an own goal scored for Queensfield, Wayne Savory, Gareth Pierce and Chris Harris replying.
Liden Pumas took the points in a 3-1 win over Lower Stratton Reserves, thanks to goals from David Reece-Morgan, Nick Morris and James Pitt.
Green Baize beat Rodbourne 3-0, with Justin Keene scoring twice and Jim Miller getting the other.
