PURTON and Lydiard Scout Troop has raised £250 for two charities.
The troop took part in a fundraising event to support the Purton branch of the Royal British Legion and Children In Need in November.
They had non-uniform night, collected coins in Smartie tubes, threw water at the Explorer Scouts and did a sponsored obstacle course around their headquarters.
The sum of £100 is to be donated to Children In Need and £150 is to go to the Royal British Legion.
Legion members visited the troop in November and gave a talk on their organisation, which tied into Remembrance Day.
The Scouts who write up a report on these events will receive the Community Challenge Award.
