Ref. 75928-02SWINDON'S nature has moved indoors for a new exhibition at the town's Museum and Art Gallery, in Bath Road.
Nature For All opened this week and aims to give people a better understanding of the nature that surrounds them in the Swindon area.
There is a chance to walk through the seasons, along with interactive exhibits such a live wasps' nest.
Pieces include a 200-year-old slice of beech tree, while an exhibition of photos by Laurie Campbell includes all of Swindon's bio-diversity and main nature reserve sites, including places like Barbury Castle.
Johanna Fawthrop, from the Nature For All project, said: "Hopefully it will inspire people to go and visit their local nature reserves and get actively involved in them."
She added that they had got very good feedback about the display already.
Entry to the exhibition, which runs to the end of April is free.
Visitors can also find out more about Swindon Council's ranger service.
The museum is open from 10am to 5pm from Monday to Saturday and between 2pm and 5pm on Sundays.
