THE publication of a controversial report on forced labour and migrant exploitation in Britain is to be delayed until after the next general election.

The Geneva based International Labour Organisation and the British Trades Union Congress jointly commissioned the report.

A typical example in the report of migrant exploitation was a qualified nurse who was working for the NHS through an agency who was only paid £46 a week after deductions.

We should not have to wait until after the next general election before we are told the details about what is happening in Britain today in relation to migrant exploitation and forced labour.
