ONE of the questions in the North Swindon Residents' survey that Justin Tomlinson has asked voters to answer is: "Last year the Labour MP for North Swindon claimed £112,000 worth of expenses. Is this value for money? Yes or No.''
Is that a fair question without giving a comparison across the country? I think not.
Let's put that question with fair comparisons, Michael Wills North Swindon Labour MP expenses are £112,000; Julia Drown South Swindon Labour MP £114,894; James Gray Conservative MP North Wiltshire, just down the road, £130,464. So I think you would agree, the answer is a most definite yes!
