15327/1GAZETTE & HERALD: Pupils, parents and teachers at Christian Malford C of E School are celebrating a glowing Ofsted report that praises a very happy school where pupils have very good attitudes and values.
Headteacher Julia Harle said: "I am particularly pleased that the inspectors commented on how confident and happy they children are. I think that is the most important thing in primary education."
The Ofsted inspection took place from November 22 to 24 and the report said all teaching is good and that the headteacher provided a clear vision for the future and enjoyed the full support of staff, governors, pupils and parents.
The school was praised for providing for the needs of all pupils and the children's attitude was a particular highlight.
"Pupils enjoy school, are extremely confident, behave very well and are very positive about learning," the report said.
No significant areas for improvement were mentioned but minor areas included bettering ICT resources to enable whole class teaching and ensuring reports to parents were consistent and gave good indicators on how a child can improve.
Inspectors were especially enthusiastic about an imaginative role-playing session for Reception children making a weekly visit to the school farm.
The school has 84 pupils, three teachers, as well a special needs teacher and a teaching head. Ms Harle has led the school for a year.
