GAZETTE & HERALD: CORSHAM artist Margaret Heath is exhibiting her work in the new ArtsNoW Gallery, at the Pound Arts Centre that opened late last year.
ArtsNoW is the network for visual artists living or working in North Wiltshire.
Mrs Heath, 55, of Pickwick Road who is a member of the Bath Textile Artists group, is no stranger to showing off her work, having previously displayed it in Malmesbury and elsewhere around the county.
"There's a buzz you get from making it then people seeing it," she said.
She draws inspiration from the world around her and said Wiltshire is a great resource for her designs.
"With its rolling downland, ancient monuments and interesting flora, the continuity of use of the land for ritual or domestic purposes is fascinating and gives me so many ideas for pictures that I am always working on more than one piece at a time."
Mrs Heath uses textiles, stitching and paints to create her work. It is on display until Wednesday, March 2.
She will be discussing her work at a Lunch and Listen in the ArtsNoW Gallery and Caf at 1pm on Wednesday, February 23.
