A new business association has been formed in Wootton Bassett to allow businesses to have their say on specific town issues.
Last week letters were sent to businesses around the town inviting people to join the new association.
Organiser Bridgett Tubb, of the High Street, said: "There used to be a business association some 20-odd years ago.
"The idea is to address specific issues that are solely town based and no further. It won't be run by a committee and everyone will be able to suggest ideas that can then go on the agenda."
Current areas of concern are proposals for pay and display parking in Borough Fields car park and proposed continental markets.
The group has worked with the Cricklade Business Association to identify the role of the new association.
Mrs Tubb said the association would run independently of the town's Chamber of Commerce but would not compete with it. Annual subscriptions cost £15 and can be obtained by calling Mrs Tubb on (01793) 849499.
