TROWBRIDGE LEAGUE: NORTH Bradley Saints have lined themselves up for a hat-trick of league titles but that could change next week when they host champions Broughton Gifford, who they beat 3-0 on Saturday.
Gifford, denied at least one penalty, will be gunning for revenge after a titanic tussle lived up to all expectations. Saints' bid for more silverware received a major boost when leaders Rudloe suffered a massive home shock a 5-2 defeat by Frome Town Sports.
Freshford United's mini-revival ended in a 3-2 win for former top-flight leaders Dynamo West End.
Trowbridge United repeated their victory over Warminster Town Reserves in October to collect valuable points at the foot of the table.
Cup giant-killers Trowbridge Wanderers struck again this time the Division Three outfit put out Division Two high-flyers CS Filos 2-1 through an extra time winner from former Salisbury City striker Steve Coombes.
In the semi-final of the A and B Cup Wanderers, who just avenged a KO Cup defeat by Filos, will meet Seend United who beat top-flight rivals Bradford United 3-1.
The other semi-final is between North Bradley Saints and Broughton Gifford.
