DEFENDER Ollie Mcaninch says his side need to start picking up points away from home if they want to survive in the Screwfix League.
The club are lying second from bottom in the first division and have lost every one of their 11 games on the road.
Despite a battling first half performance that only saw them a goal down at the break, Mcaninch believes results need to drastically improve ahead of their important league match against Clevedon at home on Saturday.
But with Biddestone five points behind nearest rivals Saltash, who have five games in hand, Mcaninch admits his side's chances of survival are looking bleak.
He said: "It is murder at the moment, we need to grind out results, even if we put bodies behind the ball and get a 0-0 draw. Maybe we can sneak the odd game with a break away goal.
"In some ways we are praying that the league is restructured again so that we stay up.
"It might come to the stage soon where it is near on impossible to catch the teams in front of us."
Although the side is struggling in the Screwfix League, the centre back says team spirit is higher than ever.
"We are all together as a team, most sides would be in tatters in our position, we are fighting all the way to the end."
