MELKSHAM'S record home defeat was to be the last game for manager Nigel Tripp as he admitted he could not live with the embarrassment.
At half time, his side were seven down and Tripp was furious that a few of his players were laughing as they walked to the changing rooms.
He said: "Some of the lads can live with a 10-0 result but I can't. It was the same team that pulled off the great results against Exmouth and Bristol Manor Farm.
"There were lots of people commenting that they could do a better job, well now is their chance."
Chairman Nick Perrin is now facing a race against time to find a caretaker manager ahead of their Screwfix Premier match away to Brislington next Tuesday.
Melksham found themselves three goals down in an explosive first ten minutes with Lee Langmead striking twice. He then supplied Mike Southgate with the perfect ball to strike past keeper Brad Williams.
Langmead struck again ten minutes later when he beat Williams to a poor back pass. Ian Down notched his side's fifth before Robbie Gough and another from Langmead completed a dismal first half.
And a second half hat trick from Southgate capped off a terrible day for Nigel Tripp and his men.
