DEVIZES Town chairman Phil Rossiter believes the club's future is bright after sealing a new sponsorship deal with the Rising Sun pub.
Landlord of the Four Seasons, Gary MacMartin, has taken over the pub and will be reopening in April.
He agreed a two-year sponsorship deal with the football club and the new shirts will be unveiled in the club's league fixture against Keynsham at Nursteed Road on April 2.
Rossiter feels the deal is a positive step, especially after Devizes AFC Ltd was wound up in the high court last week.
The company was part of the Devizes team when Chris Belcher was chairman. The company massed huge debts and was forced by the FA to separate from the football club.
Rossiter said: "This is a great move for the club. Devizes AFC Ltd left us with some debts to clear and local companies were scared away from sponsoring us.
"We are finally putting all that behind us and are once again receiving support from businesses in the area."
When Rossiter took over as chairman two seasons ago the club inherited an £8,000 debt to Wadworths brewery.
The side have since settled the debt and have received advice and help from the brewery when they refurbished the bar.
"We have now re-established good relations with local businesses such as Wadworths. The future is looking much better than it did when I took over as chairman" Rossiter added.
"Our accounts are now clear and we have no outstanding debts, we don't even have an overdraft any more.
"We do work on a very tight budget but our finances are in a good state now."
