WESTLECOT men will be looking to maintain this season's unbeaten record on Sunday when they face basement club Rivermead (Reading) in their latest Wessex League game.

The Swindon indoor club have won five out of five games to date to easily head the East Region section and are the only unbeaten side in the eight team division.

With only two games left against Rivermead this weekend and the local derby with Thamesdown in a fortnights time Westlecot are warm favourites to win the section.

They are already assured of a place in the last 16 of the end of season play-offs.

Westlecot show several changes for the trip to Reading, from the side that beat West Berks 92-70 and won on all four rinks, taking a maximum 16 points.

In sharp contrast neighbours Thamesdown have found life tough this season in the Wessex League having lost a few of their top bowlers.

They currently occupy sixth place in the table after losing their outstanding game against Carterton 116-51 (16-0) and this weekend face West Berks (Newbury).
