A 38-year-old woman has admitted assaulting a man after causing criminal damage to a camper van.
Dionne O'Connor, of Phillip Close, Melksham, could face jail after pleading guilty to assault causing actual bodily harm at Swindon Crown Court on Tuesday.
She had already admitted causing criminal damage to a camper van but had originally denied assaulting Marc Waldron-Bradley on April 14 claiming she was acting in self-defence.
Moments before her trial she changed her plea and admitted the incident.
Ian Halliday, defending, said the incident with the vehicle led to a scuffle during which his client assaulted Mr Waldron-Bradley.
He said: "I am aware that this lady has had long and detailed involvement with West Wiltshire community mental health team."
Judge Charles Wade adjourned the case for a month for reports to be prepared. He released O'Connor on bail on the condition she has no contact with Mr Waldron-Bradley.
