FORUMS giving public and voluntary organisations the chance to discuss anti-social behaviour have been organised across Wiltshire.
West and North Wiltshire Community Safety Partnerships have invited representatives from a variety of organisations to the events, which will be held over the coming weeks.
The forums plan to:
Explain to local councils and other organisations how to fulfil their duties under the Crime and Disorder Act when making decisions that might affect crime.
Show how local communities can work with members of the Community Safety Partnership, which includes the police, fire service and Primary Care Trust, to reduce anti-social behaviour.
Ishti Turner, West Wiltshire District Council's community safety officer, said: "These training events will place emphasis on community spirit and how local people can make a difference in their areas."
Representatives from public and voluntary organisations who want to attend can call Michael Franklin on (01225) 703444.
