A MOTORIST has been charged with four driving offences and a breach of bail following a car crash near Heytesbury.
John Richards, 27, of Eastleigh, Hampshire, was charged with drink-driving, taking a vehicle without consent, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and driving without insurance.
He was also charged with a breach of bail order after police arrested him following the crash on the A36.
Richards, of Chapel Drove, Horton Heath, appeared at Chippenham magistrates court on Monday, where he pleaded guilty to drink-driving and driving without insurance.
He did not enter a plea for taking a vehicle without consent or driving without a licence, and will appear before magistrates again on February 15.
He will appear at Bristol Crown Court in respect of the breach of bail order.
