WE don't ask to be born, it just happens. Some are fortunate to be born in a rich environment, others are not so lucky.
I wonder, does the pigeon wish it were born a swan, the graceful bird, and if it were a swan not looked upon with scorn as most folk do with pigeons.
Yet to my mind the pigeon is still a graceful bird surviving the best it can.
Sure, it does make a mess around our town, but they are not alone; just think of the mess that man can make around the countryside and towns, even in his own back yard.
So next time you see the pigeons just think, how would I like to be a bird that has to find whatever it can just to live day by day?
If there were no birds or animals, what a dreary world we would live in.
It's worth thinking about.
