ROYAL WEDDING: LESLIE Hatcher of Leslie Hatcher Bridal and Men's Formal Wear, in Temple Street, had some advice for Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles on their big day.
He said: "The older bride is increasingly wearing the big wedding dress, the same as the younger ones these days.
"They are gradually losing reservations about going for the big dress.
"But the simple suits are still very popular and extremely glamorous and maybe that would suit her more."
Detailed preparations for the royal wedding are likely to have been taking place behind closed doors for months, experts say.
With the date set for less than two months in the future, most of the arrangements should already have been final-ised, accord-ing to wedding planners.
Commenting on what Prince Charles might wear, he said: "People now are going for three quarter length frock coats and Charles could go for one of these.
"They started out in black or navy but now people are going for much brighter colours.
"If he wants to look very modern and in touch with the younger generation he might consider wearing one of them.
"You can get them in any colour under the sun and they are very popular.
"My advice would be to think of wearing something like this and show he's in tune with the younger generations."
