ARMY favourite Jim Davidson brought his unique brand of blue humour to Swindon.
The self-confessed politically incorrect comic performed at the Oasis Leisure Centre last night.
Before he entered the stage the audience was greeted with songs about shirt lifters and the female body which set the tone for the rest of the evening.
As usual with the 51-year-old stand-up nothing was off limits and Charles and Camilla, Ellen MacArthur and Tony Blair were all used up as comic fodder.
But it was Swindon itself that was the butt of many of Jim's jokes.
The magic roundabout and the size of our women in particular were a constant source of laughs.
And the leisure centre also came in for a bit of stick with Jim joking that he would not go there to see Elvis and telling the audience he had been given a squash court for a dressing room.
There were a few serious moments too with him unable to resist a dip into politics and a dig at the European Union.
Jim is best known for fronting TV shows like The Generation Game and Big Break.
His own big break came back in 1976 when he won the TV talent show New Faces.
He then starred in two comedy series, Up The Elephant And Round The Castle and Home James! before going on to host his own game shows.
Jim is also notorious for saying things that land him in trouble.
On a recent tour he stormed out of a theatre in Plymouth because mentally and physically handicapped people filled the front row.
He referred briefly to the incident last night, when defending himself he said: "If you're in the front row you know what to expect. But what was I supposed to do make fun of their tyres?"
