Ref. 76000A SWINDON yoga school will hold a marathon exercise event to raise money for the Asian tsunami appeal.
Students of the Namaste Yoga Studio in Newburn Crescent, near Rodbourne, are collecting sponsorship to perform 108 different movements, called sun salutations.
Yoga instructor Frances Lewis, 49, said: "People normally perform between five and 12 sun salutations so it's an extraordinary practise to do 108.
"It will be very strenuous and require a lot of commitment. It's quite a challenge."
Twelve of Frances's students, aged between 30 and 60, will take part in the fundraiser on March 6.
