THREE teachers from Greendown School, in West Swindon, will fly to South Africa today as part of a Global Schools Partnership.
Christina Bennett, an English teacher and co-ordinator of the scheme, said: "The purpose of the partnership is to help enlighten and enrich each others' lives.
"It will influence our work and hopefully broaden the minds of our students."
The teachers are using their half-term holiday to visit the secondary school in Clarens.
The £2,000 trip has been funded by Blagrove-based truck leasing company MAN ERF.
Mrs Bennett said: "The company were keen to support something in the local community and they have a sister company in South Africa so it worked out well."
