THE Great Western Community Forest has organised a family tree planting day with live music and face painting.
The event, on March 5, will take place in Purton Wood on the edge of Moulden Hill and Country Park, close to Taw Hill.
As well as tree planting, there will also be live music, face painting, children's workshops and exhibitions. Planting will take place between 10am and 4pm.
Participants do not need gardening or horticultural experience to join in. They should wear wellies, bring gloves and wrap up warm.
