BRITISH Beef are on track to hit the big time and they want to be bigger than Busted.
The Swindon-born pop-punk band are poised to release their debut single after being signed up by a top record company three months ago.
Lead singer Felix Milburn, 21, said: "It's fantastic. We're living our dream. But we don't feel like rock stars just yet there's still a long way to go."
Their first single Without Me will soon be in the shops under the Sony BMG label and the band members are now busy writing more songs.
The four-strong group, comprising of Felix, guitarist James Lindsey, 21, drummer Patrick Smith, 22, and bassist Gareth Brookfield, 25, are also rehearsing three times a week in a London studio.
Their six-album deal, struck last November, is believed to be worth a six-figure sum.
British Beef recently supported pop boyband Busted in Minehead.
