CHILDREN from Lawn Primary School took part in a skipping workshop to improve their fitness and co-ordination skills.
The workshop was led by John Burns from the Surrey based company Skipping Workshops.
Year six teacher Louise Nelson who organised the event, said: "There was a year six group that took part in the workshop all afternoon, then did a demonstration for the rest of the school of what they had learnt.
"Skipping is really great exercise for the children and it's used by a lot of top sports people such as David Beckham to get fit. It improves fitness, stamina and co-ordination."
