WILDLIFE enthusiasts in Swindon are being urged to keep an eye out for ladybirds in their gardens.
The Woodland Trust has teamed up with the BBC to try and find out when the insects are appearing.
Combining research by the UK Phenology Network with Cambridge University data shows that ladybirds could be waking up 11 to 14 days earlier than they did 20 years ago.
Jill Attenborough, of the Woodland Trust, said: "We need your help to spot when ladybirds first appear and when you see them meeting."
