PEOPLE in Swindon have a chance to find out more about the Fairtrade scheme, which helps Third World producers gain a fairer price for their products, this week.
The Fairtrade Experience will take place in the Civic Offices on Wednesday evening.
It has been organised by the Oxford, Swindon and Gloucester Co-op which sells some of the products.
Spokeswoman Nicky Leech said: "This is an informal, short, introductory session and will include presentations from leading Fairtrade campaigners and invited guests.
"You should come to this event if you simply want to know more about Fairtrade or to find out what you can do in your region to promote Fairtrade.
"Of course there, will be some free Fairtrade products to sample too."
Anyone wanting to attend the event, which begins at 7pm and runs until 9pm, should telephone Rebekah Dziumak-Hooper on 01865 256273.
