SWINDON Town Ladies visited Reading for a South West Combination League game and shared six goals and the points.
Town kicked off into a strong wind, and went ahead in the 16th minute when a right wing build-up between Kim Reeves and Holly Burton ended with Michelle Rich scoring.
Town's lead was shortlived as Reading hit back straight away to equalise.
A minute later Reading took the lead when they scored from a free kick on the edge of Town's penalty area.
Five minutes later disaster struck again for the Town when Reading grabbed a third.
Town hit back 10 minutes after half-time when Rich fired a free kick high into the net.
Town pushed forward, looking to get level but the Reading defence stood firm.
Seven minutes from the end Town drew level. Sam Quinn's clearance was headed over the Reading defence by Kim Reeves for Laura Morgan to run clear and score.
Town pushed forward looking for the winner but the closest that they came was when Rich's shot rebounded off the post with the keeper beaten.
Town paid heavily for a silly six minutes when they conceded three goals which was enough to give Reading their first point of the season.
