A CRICKLADE pub has handed over more than £1,000 to the Wiltshire Air Ambulance Appeal.
The Red Lion Inn (pictured) chose the appeal as its charity for 2004 and raised £1,350 through its weekly draws and other charity events throughout the year.
The Red Lion Charity Fund has now donated £43,500 to good causes since 1987.
Tracey Edwards, of the appeal, said: "The donation will help run the air ambulance, which costs £320,000 a year." To help the Wiltshire Air Ambulance Appeal call Tracey or Mary Laing on 01380 739453 or email wiltshire.airambulance@virgin.net
