GAZETTE & HERALD: THE Cross Keys darts club from Corsham is hoping to hit a bull's eye and raise £2,000 for the Tsunami Appeal.
On Friday, March 25 the group of 20 will take part in a 24-hour darts marathon and hold an auction and a raffle in a bid to boost the funds.
Although the pub will only be open during normal licensing hours the darts players will continue throughout the night. There will buckets on the bar and raffle tickets will be available before the event.
Red Dragon Sport UK has given five dartboards and the team will be using one of them on the night.
If anyone wants to donate boxes of chocolates or bottles of wine for the raffle or bigger prizes for the auction, the gifts will be greatly appreciated by the club. Organiser Dave Phillpott said: "We're really looking forward to the marathon and we are hoping for a lot of support during normal trading hours."
