ETHICAL investment company Barchester Green of Salisbury has come top in a mystery shopper survey of financial advisers in Salisbury and the New Forest.
Adviser Ian Hudson was said to have "hit all the right notes" in the telephone interview.
The survey, conducted by national financial publication Financial Adviser part of Financial Times Business magazines is a regular feature and this one was about ethical investments.
The firm scored maximum marks for telephone manner, guidance and knowledge, and two out of five for speed of response.
Founder and managing director Geoff Griffiths said: Although the company was established in 1985 and was the first to offer independent advice on specialist ethical investments, Ian has been with us only since October, so all credit to him."
Barchester Green, which provides pension and insurance protection advice as well as ethical investment advice, operates in seven locations, Salisbury being its head office.
