THE EVENING Advertiser's career and jobs exhibition attracted a huge number of employers and job seekers.
People of all ages flocked to the De Vere Hotel at Shaw Ridge for the all-day event.
Some people were looking for their first job while others were hoping to advance their careers.
Boonsita Murphy, 32, from Sparcells, said: "I work in a photography shop, but I'm studying accounts and I want to work in a finance or accounts department.
"This event is a good idea because I don't need to go to a lot of different places. It's quite handy."
Damiean Godfrey, 17, from Park North, has a clear idea where he is heading.
He said: "I'm looking for an apprenticeship with a motor mechanic. That's all I want. Hopefully today will help. If not, I'll just have to find some training somewhere else."
The day was organised in association with the National Trust, which is opening its new headquarters in the Outlet Village.
Kieron Lillis, human resources manager, believes it was a very worthwhile occasion.
He said: "We had a rush through the doors when they opened, and we haven't had a quiet time yet."
