PEOPLE working with community groups are being offered the chance to extend their experience.
West and North Wiltshire District Councils, along with councils from Salisbury and Kennet, are running a four-day training course on planning, fundraising for, and managing a community arts project.
The course is aimed at people already working with community groups but with no experience of the arts.
Meril Morgan, community arts development officer with West Wiltshire District Council, said: "These groups can really benefit from running arts projects, but they often don't know where to start.
"This course aims to give them the skills and knowledge they need to take their ideas forward."
Participants need to attend all four sessions, on April 15 and 16 in Trowbridge and April 22 and 23 in Salisbury, from 10am to 4pm.
Statutory organisations will be charged £50 per person, voluntary organisations with paid staff will get a 50 per cent discount and voluntary groups and individuals will pay £15.
Applications must be made by March 18. For a form contact Meril Morgan on (01225) 770326.
